Justifying the presence of a car silo in the heart of a historic area of Lisbon requires a strong and effective response. Dating back to the second half of the 18th century, the plan of Baixa Pombalina still impresses us today. There, the city is governed by a compass of clarity and geometric rigor, in a logic of repetition. The solution was to reinterpret the pre-existing façade, giving it a completely new plastic sense. The building's new skin aims to establish a dialog with the other Pombaline façades of the buildings that make up the Plan.
