Academic Project: Lusíada University of Lisbon. Prof. Jorge Sousa Santos
When designing a sales stand for a residential building in the heart of Lisbon - between Rossio and Figueira squares - it was imperative to understand what a sales stand is in detail. Its small program, its ephemeral nature and the impact of its presence in a square in the city center seemed like relevant points to base a reflection on this typology. As it is a program that allows some flexibility and creative freedom, it was decided to imprint an important conceptual load on the definition of the object. The characterization of the materials was also one of the main points of this project. All the building components were chosen taking into account the lifetime of the intervention.
